Abstract: The extracellular products (ECP) collected by a semipermeable membrane from Bacillus licheniformis were mixed with digestive enzymes extracted by homogenization and centrifugation from white shrimp Litopenaeus vannamei hepatopanceas and intestine at a ratio of 1: 9. The effects of ECP on protease activity of the white shrimp were studied at various temperature and pH values in vitro. The results showed that there were no significant differences in protease activities between the test groups with the ECP and the control groups ( P 〉 0.05) at different temperature and pH. However, the inverse relationship was observed between the protease activities and the ECP quantity in the experimental groups.
