Abstract: Esterase (EST) isozymes and some hematological values were determined in live, kidney, muscle, intestine, gill and spleen of cultured common carp (Cyprinus carpio) to evaluate the effects of different dosages of enrofloxacin (ERFX) and chloramphenicol (CAP) by polyacylamide electrophoresis (PAGE). The results showed that the carp fed the diet containing ERFX had significantly high EST activities. There were significantly low serum total protein (TP),albumin(A) and the rate of A/G in the fish fed the diet containing ERFX and chloramphenicol (CAP). However, while there were significantly high serum levels of glutamic-pyruvic transaminase (GPT), alkaline phosphatase (ALP), inorganic phosphorus (IOP), non-protein nitrogen (NPN) and carnine (CR) in the fish fed the diets containing the drugs, indicating that the drugs influenced all the organs and tissues on some extent, significantly the liver and kidney.
