Abstract: The cycle oxidation behavior of TiAl-14.3Nb alloy in three different grain sizes at the temperature of 1000℃ in static air was studied using thermogravimetric analysis.The structure and components of the oxidation layer were analyzed by XRD, SEM and EDS.The results indicate that grain size has some impact on oxidation resistance properties.The alloy's oxidation resistance at high temperature is not higher as its grain size becomes smaller. The mechanism of oxidation is investigated.
