Abstract: In this paper, research and culture history of sturgeon, and their variety and biology are presented. Several approaches of sturgeon culture are summarized, and scale and output of larvae, fingerlings and marketable fish are estimated. Some problems of sturgeon culture and proposals are proposed for the rapid development of sturgeon culture in China.
