Abstract: The effect of bubble curtains on blocking of fat greenling Hexagrammos otakii was studied under conditions of compressed air pressure of 0.04 MPa in the indoor flume, bore diameter of 1.0 mm and 2.0 mm,hole pitch of 2.5 cm and 5.0 cm,and mutual combination of four crowding level fixed bubble curtains to provide basic data for fishes domestication in Marine Pasture. The results showed that the four bubble curtains had more obvious blocking effect for fat greenling, the best blocking effect under the bubble curtains with the bore diameter of 1.0 mm and the hole pitch of 2.5 cm,with average block rate of 53.2%,and average time needed for the first time through of 202.25 s.The findings indicate that fat greenling is significantly blocked by the bubble curtains.
