Abstract: The behavioral response of juvenile Schlegers rockfish Sebastes schlegeli and fat greenling Hexagrammos otakii to two different structures and PVC material square reef models were observed in a flume. The attractive effects of the reef on the fish were analyzed. The results showed that the fish were distributed in both the comer and the edge of the flume with and without the reefs, and the average incidence of the fish was about 20% and higher in the district of Ⅰ and Ⅱ than the rest in the experiment. The indexes of approaching behavior of fat greenling and Schlegel's rockfish were 1.12 and 1.03 in the experiment B1, respectively and 1.16 and 1.05 in the experiment B2, respectively. The fat greenling had significant higher index than Schlegers rockfish.
