Abstract: The pathological and ultra-pathological observation were conducted in hybrid strugeon(HusodauricusGeorgi♀×AcipenserschrenckiBrandt♂) infected withAeromonashydrophilanaturally and artificially. The infected sturgeon exhibited slight mucus increase and reddish in color in the abdomen and fin bases, and the gills showed anaemia or congestive and rotted. Some petechial heamorrhagy was observed on abdominal cavity walls and internal organs. The main pathological changes were congestion, heamorrhagy, hemolysis, anemia, micro vessel expansion and circulation dysfunction in internal organs including liver, kidney and spleen. Parenchymal cells were developed from degeneration into conspicuous necrosis in the internal organs, even some diffuse necrotic foci in severe case. The electronic microscopy revealed that there was a large number of short rod bacteria in the cells of internal organs, and swollen and enlarged mitochondria, even lysis of mitochondrial cristae in severe case.
