Abstract: The histology of the main organs of the infected Ruditapes philippinarum was observed with light micrscope. The trophozoite, enveloped by eosinophil pactical cells, pre-dominantly had parasited in the connective tissue. They were also frequently found in gill,
mantle and digestive tract, but rarely in adductor muscle and efferent siphon, and not in podium. Trophozoites occurred in various forms. The mature trophozoite possessed a large vacuole. Pathological changes appeared in different degrees in the tissues infected by tropho-zoite. In serious case the amount of trophozoite increased and the epithelium was shrunk, necrotic and decomposed.
