Heterotrophic bacteria in the water and Chinese mitten crab bodies during artificial reproduction

Abstract: Changes in numbers of heterotrophic bacteria, and Vibrio in water in a sinking tank,nursery water and larval Chinese mitten crab (Eriocheir sinensis) had beed studied during theperiod of industrial seedlings. The investigation was carried out on the bacterium composition ofthe dominant bacterial strains, the relation between change in numbers of bacteria and environ-mental factors such as disinfectant, COD, NH4-N, pH value and so on. The results showedthat the reproductive rate of the bacteria in water was great, the bacterial composition was sim-ple. Vibrio were dominant species with incidence of 45% . The number of heterotrophic bacteriawas positively related with COD content and NH4 - N concentration, but negatively with pHvalue.
