Abstract: The paper explores water capacity of bubble.Water volume carried by bubbles is measured with specially designed dual-fluid(water and diesel fuel)separation apparatus when a series of experiments are conducted with the different combinations of nine oriffices(diameters 0.45-4.3 mm)and three gas-tube connectors(1.2, 1.6,and 2.3 mm).The result shows that orifice diameter has significant effect on water capacity of bubble as air quantity and pressure injected is kept constant. It further reaveals that water capacity of bubble is improved as orifice diameter increases, drops gradually after peak value is reached, and tends to be stable. The diameter ratio of orifice to connector is directly related to water capacity of bubble. As the diameter ratio is equal to 0.5 and one respectively, bubbles'capacity reaches peak value and stable point, and as it is more than one,the capacity tends to be stable.
