Abstract: An four factors (concentration of paste starch, post curing temperature, soaking time and soaking temperature) three levels (paste starch concentration of 0%,4% and 8%; post curing temperature of 60,120, and 180 ℃; soaking period of 4,8, and 12 h; soaking temperature of 5,15, and 25 ℃) orthogonal experiment was carried out in order to investigate the effects of processing and utilizing methods of Se-enriched feed for sea cucumber on the dissolution rate of Se. It was found that the order of the effects of four factors on the dissolution rate of dietary selenium in sea cucumber was arranged as soaking time > concentration of paste starch > post curing temperature > soaking temperature. The best processing method was carried out under the conditions of mixture of 8% paste starch with feed for juvenile sea cucumber, and pelleting and drying at 60 ℃. It was the best when the Se-enriched diet was fed 4 hours before the feeding peak of juveniles at water temperature of 25 ℃.
