Abstract: An expert system for shrimp disease diagnose and prevention is established and practiced to solve shortage of technical persons and low disease diagnostic accuracy based on back propagation artificial neural network, combined with the application of neural network expert system in the field of disease diagnosis in shrimp industry suffered from diseases. The system as a subsystem of crustacean aquaculture expert system is designed by ASP, NET technology and B/S three layers architecture ideas, and effectively solves problems, such as difficulties of acquiring knowledge, poor ability of self-learning and reasoning for traditional expert system. The system is characterized by user-friendly, simple, practical and easy to maintain, and has the functions of the shrimp culture consulting, and disease diagnosis and prevention, with certain practical significance and promotional value.
