Abstract: Juvenile triploid rainbow trout Oncorhynchusmykiss with body weight of(2.05±0.26)g were reared in a 5 m×1.5 m×0.5 m cement tank at water temperature of 9.2-13.8 ℃ at stocking density of 500(group a1)and 700 ind./m2(group a2)in Baishan Shenyuan Aquafarm, Jilin Province from August 8 to October 7, 2018 for 60 d and juvenile triploid rainbow trout with body weight of(1.82±0.15)g were reared in the same size cement tank at the same stocking density(group b1 and group b2)at water temperature of 7.7-12.4 ℃ in Shiwudaogou Cold Water Fish Farm in the upper reaches of Yalu River, Changbai, Jilin Province at the same time and for same period to evaluate the growth characteristics of juvenile triploid rainbow trout in mountain area of Northeast China. It was found that the best growth was observed at the stocking density of 700 ind./m2 in group a2, with average daily growth of 0.11 cm in total length, specific growth rate(SGR)of 1.24%/d in total length, average daily weight gain of 0.31 g and SGR of 3.83%/d.There was a linear relationship between the total length and day age as an equation of L=0.1086t-10.662, and a power function relationship between body weight and day age as W=0.0066e0.0384t.The total length-weight relationship was expressed as W=0.0095L3.042(R2=0.9974), the b′ value of greater than 3, indicating that the growth of body weight was better than the total length, allometric in triploid rainbow trout juveniles. The findings indicated that juvenile triploid rainbow trout was able to adapt to environment in mountain area in northeast china and suitable for large scale culture.
