Journal Introduction

●Brief Introduction of Journal of Dalian Ocean University

Journal of Dalian Ocean University (formerly Journal of Dalian Fisheries College（1980-2010）) was founded in 1980 and served as an internal communication journal before 1986. In December 1986, Journal of Dalian Fisheries College was first officially published with the domestic issue number CN21-1220/S in China in 1986 . In 1989, Journal of Dalian Fisheries College became a international public publication after obtaining the international serial publication registration certificate and the international serial number (ISSN 1000-9957). In 2010, Journal of Dalian Fisheries College was changed its title as Journal of Dalian Ocean University in the 3rd issue of 2010 with a new domestic issue number CN21-1575/S and an international publication number ISSN 2095-1388.

Journal of Dalian Ocean University is a bimonthly international journal publishing original research papers, short communications and review papers on all aspects of marine, aquaculture and related disciplines. The Journal covers topics such as the aquatic biology, biotechnology, aquaculture and disease control, marine ecology and environment, marine fishery, fishery resources, fishery fishing, aquatic products processing, fishery machinery, navigation technology and marine engineering management, fishing vessel design and manufacture, and more. Journal of Dalian Ocean University is now a source journal of China Science Citation Database (CSCD), core journal in Chinese, Chinese science and technology core journal, RCCSE China core academic journal and Liaoning province first-class journal. In recent years, Journal of Dalian Ocean University has won the awards of top 100 scientific journals in Chinese universities (2016, 2018 and 2020), excellent scientific journals in Chinese universities, distinctive scientific journals in Chinese universities, excellent editing and publishing quality awards for national scientific journals in universities, first prize for Online Excellent Journals of Chinese scientific papers, and excellent scientific journals in Liaoning universities.
