魁蚶苗种的潜沙行为观察

摘要 根据魁蚶苗种的壳长将其分为6组:0.50cm组、1.00cm组、1.50cm组、2.00cm组、2.50cm组、3.00cm组,在实验室条件下,对不同规格魁蚶Scapharcabroughtonii苗种的潜沙行为及潜沙能力进行了观察。结果表明:魁蚶潜沙行为分为准备期、潜沙期及结束期,其中潜沙期主要包括伸出斧足、竖壳、潜沙3个主要动作;不同规格的魁蚶苗种,其潜沙能力差异明显。壳长为0.50cm的组,潜沙准备时间(8.5min)、潜沙时间最长(24min),潜沙率最低(10%);壳长为1.50—3.00cm时,魁蚶的潜沙准备时间和潜沙时间明显缩短,潜沙率提升至90%以上;壳长为1.50cm组的魁蚶完成潜沙的时间最短,在10min之内能够完成潜沙过程。

Abstract: The burrowing behavior and ability of spat with different sizes from 0.5 cm to 3.0 cm were observed in Scapharca broughtonii Sckrenck in a laboratory. It was found that the behavior of the burrowing into the soft sediment was divided into three steps: preparation, burrowing period and terminal period. The burrowing was involved in stretching foot, stacking shell and burrowing into the silt and sand. The spat had various burrowing ability with individual size. The spat with shell length of 0.50 cm has the longest preparation period ( 8.5 rain) and digging time (24 min) with the minimal burrowing rate ( 10% ). The spat showed significantly shorter preparation period and digging time when it had shell length of 1.50-3.00 cm, whereas the digging rate was increases above 90%. The spat with shell length of 1.50 cm had the shortest digging time, and finished the process within 10 min.
