Abstract: Sea bass perch ( Lateolabrax japonicus ) juveniles with total length of 10-15 cm were produced within 6 months indoor. The feeding series was rotifer (4-20 d), artemia(12-45 d), formulated food (after 20 d), fish mince (after 45 d) In seedling rearing, improvement of rate of initial swim bladder inflation and of reduction of cannibalism was the key for fry rearing.The large juveniles reared in cages can reach more than 500 g within one growing season in Dalian
