Abstract: The depletion of florfenicol and its metabolite florfenicol amine residues was studied in Germany mirror carp Cyprinus carpio mirror under different water temperature(16,26℃)and doses(15,45 mg/kg body weight)of the drug.The Germany mirror carp were orally administrated for the drug at a dose of 15 mg/kg body weight at water temperature of 26℃(group A)and 16℃(group B)only once,and at a dose of 15 mg/kg and 45 mg/kg body weight at water temperature of 26℃(group C).Then the muscle,hepatopancreas and kidney tissues were collected from the Germany mirror carp killed 0.5,1,2,4,6,8,12,24,72,120,168,216,and 264 h after oral drug administration.The florfenicol(FF)and florfenicol amine(FFa)levels in the tissues were detected by reverse phase high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC)with fluorescence detection.It was found that the FF and FFa in three tissues were more rapidly depleted and eliminated at high water temperature than at low water temperature,and slower at high dosage than at low dosage.At 26℃,the FFa level in the issues was found to be at 36.3 μg/kg and no FF was detected 168 h after oral drug administration.At 16℃,however,the FF level in the issues was at 23 μg/kg and the FFa at 49 μg/kg 264 h after oral drug administration.At a dosage of 15 mg/kg body weight,the sum of FF and FFa levels in the muscles was found to be 36 μg/kg 168 h after oral drug administration,and at a dosage of 45 mg/kg body weight,59 μg/kg 264 h after oral drug administration.The order of elimination of the drug in various tissues was ranged as:muscle>hepatopancreas>kidney.
