Abstract: In order to optimize the structure of fin-tube heat exchangers, two methods was put forward in the paper. Under refrigeration condition, the spacing of fins was varied in the easily-frosted heat exchangers. Under air-conditioning condition, the thread pitch of the inner screw thread tubes was varied. The results have shown that the heat transfer coefficients in the two cases can be increased by 9.8%% and 3.82% respectively.
