Abstract: It is beneficial to improve daily production of Moina mongolica Daday by feeding yeast in time, increasing daily water exchange rate, by increasing the quantity of the specie introduced and by the ratio of larvae at population introduced (over 80%), as well as the number of pregnant individuals, and being harvested at an appropriate density (5000 ind. /L or so) and harvesting rate (30%). The daily production almost reaches 100 g/(m3·d) at micro-flow condition, with daily culture water exchange rate of 50%-100% and daily feeding (200-300)×104 cell/mL chlorella supplemented with 150 mg/L dry yeast. The population increment of Moina mongolica Daday can be expressed as Logistic curve equation, Nt=11/(1+e1.967-0.318t), and the approach to improve daily production can be discussed according to the curve.
