Preference of juvenile European seabass Dicentrarchus labrax to background color of culture ponds

摘要 为研究欧洲舌齿鲈Dicentrarchuslabrax幼鱼对养殖水池背景色的偏好,以平均体质量为76.0、33.0 g两种规格的欧洲舌齿鲈幼鱼为研究对象,采用八扇形颜色选择系统为试验装置,利用计算机视觉系统对试验视频进行录制和存储,通过SolveigMM Video Splitter Business Edition软件对录制的视频进行剪辑,得到结果视频,然后将结果视频输入运动轨迹跟踪系统 EthoVision XT 12进行分析处理。结果表明:幼鱼对黑色等深色区域累计停留的时间最多,表现出偏好性;在白色等浅色区域累计停留的时间最少,表现为“厌恶性”;欧洲舌齿鲈幼鱼对养殖水池背景色的偏好是基于生理本能选择且与个体大小无关。因此,建议在欧洲舌齿鲈的工厂化循环水养殖中尽量采用黑色等深色为背景色的养殖池,而不使用白色等浅色作为养殖系统的背景色,本研究结果可为工厂化循环水养殖系统的构建和养殖鱼类福利的提高提供参考依据。
Abstract: Juvenile European seabass Dicentrarchuslabrax with body weight of 76.0 g and 33.0 g were reared in an eight fan-shaped color selection test device made of a 100 cm in diameter×30 cm in height PPC round bucket in which a cylinder was set in the center of the bucket. Eight fan-shaped different colors breeding units pasted with orange, black, pink, blue, red, white, green and purple waterproof stickers on the inner wall were separated by a PPC board connecting the round bucket wall to the cylinder at water temperature of 20-22 ℃ to probe into the preference of juvenile European seabass to the background color of the breeding pool by computer vision system to record and store the test video through SolveigMM Video Splitter Business Edition software editing the recorded video to get the resulting video. Then input the video image into the motion trajectory tracking system EthoVision XT 12 for analysis and processing. The results showed that the juveniles had more accumulated stay time in dark areas such as black, showing preference; less accumulated stay time in light areas such as white, showing “disgust”. The preference of the juvenile European seabass to the background color of culture ponds was based on physiological instinct and had nothing to do with individual size. Therefore, it was suggested that the cultivation system with dark background color such as black should be adopted as far as possible in the circulation aquaculture of European seabass, instead of light color such as white as the background color. The findings provide reference basis for the construction of industrial circulating water culture system and the improvement of fish welfare.
