Abstract: Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) are widely used in the treatment of water pollution as an adsorption material because of their high specific surface area, high porosity and hydrophobicity. The method of CNTs modification and application of modified CNTs in water pollution treatment were introduced in this paper, and the common methods of recovery and regeneration of CNTs used in wastewater treatment were discussed. The practical application problems in various recovery methods were prospected, and further development, recovery and regeneration of CNTs materials were suggested.
